External Shimless Adjustment
Our state-of-the-art external shimless cover plate allows for seamless adjustment of the clearance between the impeller and the wearplate. This innovative process eliminates the need to realign belts, couplings, or other drive components, ensuring that the working height of the seal assembly and impeller back clearance remain undisturbed. The unique collar and adjusting screw mechanism enable precise, incremental adjustments of the wearplate clearance with the simple turn of a hand. Once set, the collar locks in place, preserving the clearance setting even when the cover plate is removed. This groundbreaking design not only doubles the lifespan of the impeller and wearplate but also ensures the pump operates at peak efficiency.
Solids Handling
Equipped with a two-vane, semi-open solids handling impeller, our pump can manage solids up to 3 inches (75 mm) in diameter, contingent on the pump model. Pump-out vanes on the impeller shroud minimize foreign material buildup behind the impeller and reduce pressure on the seal and bearings.
Exclusive Mechanical Seal
Our exclusive double-floating, self-aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal is designed with stationary and rotating faces of either silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide, specifically for abrasive industrial service. This high-performance seal is available on 3-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch (75 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm) pump models, with optional seals also available.
Removable Cover Plate with 'Easy-Grip' Handle
The innovative removable cover plate, featuring an 'easy-grip' handle and pusher bolt capability, offers quick and effortless access to the pump's interior without needing to disconnect any piping. This design allows for rapid clog removal, enabling the pump to be returned to service in mere minutes. Additionally, the impeller, seal, wearplate, and flap valve can all be accessed through the cover plate opening for inspection or maintenance.
Removable Rotating Assembly
Routine inspections and maintenance of the pump shaft or bearings are simplified with our removable rotating assembly. By removing just four bolts from the back of the pump, the entire assembly can be easily slid out without disturbing the pump casing or piping.
Dual Protection of Bearings
Our design incorporates atmospheric isolation of the seal cavity, providing robust protection for the bearings. This unique feature also allows for external monitoring capabilities, ensuring long-term reliability and performance.
