External Shimless Adjustment
The innovative external shimless cover plate simplifies the adjustment of the clearance between the impeller and the wearplate. This eliminates the need for realigning belts, couplings, or other drive components. The unique collar and adjusting screw allow for precise, incremental adjustments with a simple hand turn. Once set, the collar locks in place, maintaining the clearance even if the cover plate is removed. This design significantly extends the life of the impeller and wearplate, ensuring peak operational efficiency.
Solids Handling
The two-vane, semi-open impeller efficiently handles solids up to 3 inches (75 mm) in diameter, depending on the pump model. Pump-out vanes on the impeller shroud help reduce the buildup of foreign materials behind the impeller and alleviate pressure on the seal and bearings.
Exclusive Mechanical Seal
Our exclusive double-floating, self-aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal features stationary and rotating faces made of silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide, designed for abrasive industrial applications. This seal is available on 3, 4, and 6-inch (75mm, 100mm, and 150mm) pump models, with optional seals also available.
Removable Cover Plate with 'Easy-Grip' Handle
The removable cover plate, equipped with an 'easy-grip' handle and pusher bolt capability, allows for quick and effortless access to the pump's interior without disconnecting the piping. This design facilitates rapid removal of clogs and swift return to service. The impeller, seal, wearplate, and flap valve are also easily accessible for inspection or maintenance through the cover plate opening.
Removable Rotating Assembly
Inspecting the pump shaft or bearings is straightforward without disturbing the pump casing or piping by simply removing the rotating assembly. Just four bolts from the back of the pump need to be removed, and the assembly slides out effortlessly.
Dual Protection of Bearings
