The Super T Self-Priming Trash Pump is ingeniously crafted for cost-effective and seamless operation when handling solids-laden liquids and slurries. Its expansive volute design ensures automatic re-priming in an entirely open system, negating the need for suction or discharge check valves. Remarkably, it functions efficiently even with a partially filled pump and a completely dry suction line.
Our pumps are capable of managing up to 76mm spherical solids, based on the specific pump model. Should the pump shaft or bearings require servicing or repairs, the entire rotating assembly can be effortlessly removed without disrupting the pump casing or pipeline connections.
Mirroring the reliability and performance of the ST self-priming pump, the Super T pump is enhanced with advanced features such as external shimless adjustment, dual bearing protection, and a convenient 'easy-grip' cover plate handle. Varying pump sizes, impeller trims, and speed options ensure the perfect match for your system's requirements, whether for a small subdivision or a large-scale waste collection system.
External Shimless Adjustment
The innovative external shimless cover plate facilitates easy clearance adjustments between the impeller and wearplate, eliminating the need for realigning belts, couplings, or other drive components. This process does not disturb the seal assembly's working height or the impeller's back clearance. The unique collar and adjusting screw enable precise wearplate clearance adjustments with a simple hand turn. Once set, the collar locks the clearance in place, even if the cover plate is removed, doubling the impeller and wearplate's lifespan and ensuring peak pump efficiency.
Solids Handling
The two-vane, semi-open solids handling impeller can manage up to 3" (75 mm) diameter solids, depending on the pump model. The impeller shroud's pump-out vanes minimize foreign material buildup behind the impeller and alleviate pressure on the seal and bearings.
Exclusive Mechanical Seal
Our exclusive double-floating, self-aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal, with silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide faces, is meticulously designed for abrasive industrial applications. Available on 3", 4", and 6" (75 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm) pump models, with optional seals also available.
Removable Cover Plate with 'Easy-Grip' Handle
The detachable cover plate, featuring an 'easy-grip' handle and pusher bolt capability, allows swift and effortless access to the pump's interior without disconnecting piping. This design enables quick removal of clogs, facilitating immediate pump return to service. Through the cover plate opening, the impeller, seal, wearplate, and flap valve can be easily inspected or serviced.
Removable Rotating Assembly
Inspecting the pump shaft or bearings is straightforward and non-disruptive to the pump casing or piping, thanks to the removable rotating assembly. By simply removing four bolts from the pump's back, the entire assembly can be slid out effortlessly.
Dual Protection of Bearings
The atmospheric isolation of the seal cavity distinctly shields the bearings, with the unique design also supporting external monitoring capabilities.
