The Super T Self-Priming Trash Pump is masterfully engineered for cost-effective and hassle-free operation, especially in managing solids-laden liquids and slurries. It boasts a generously sized volute design, enabling automatic re-priming in an entirely open system without the need for suction or discharge check valves. Remarkably, it functions efficiently even when only partially filled with liquid and with a completely dry suction line.
Our pumps are capable of handling up to 76mm spherical solids, depending on the model. Should the pump shaft or bearings require service or repair, the entire rotating assembly can be effortlessly removed without disturbing the pump casing or pipelines, ensuring minimal downtime.
Building on the proven reliability and performance of the ST self-priming pump, the Super T pump introduces advanced features such as external shimless adjustment, dual protection of bearings, and an intuitive 'easy-grip' cover plate handle. With a range of pump sizes, impeller trims, and speed variations, we guarantee a perfect match to your system's requirements, be it a small subdivision or a large-scale waste collection system.
External Shimless Adjustment
The external shimless cover plate simplifies the adjustment of the clearance between the impeller and the wearplate. This eliminates the need for realigning belts, couplings, or other drive components, maintaining the working height of the seal assembly and impeller back clearance. This unique collar and adjusting screw facilitate incremental adjustments with a simple turn, locking in place once set, thereby doubling the life of the impeller and wearplate while ensuring peak pump efficiency.
Solids Handling
A robust two-vane, semi-open impeller handles solids up to 3" (75 mm) in diameter, depending on the pump model. Pump out vanes on the impeller shroud minimize foreign material buildup behind the impeller and reduce pressure on the seal and bearings, enhancing overall durability.
Exclusive Mechanical Seal
Our exclusive double-floating, self-aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal features stationary and rotating faces of silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide, specifically crafted for abrasive industrial applications. Available on 3", 4", and 6" (75 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm) models, optional seals are also available for specific needs.
Removable Cover Plate with 'Easy-Grip' Handle
The innovative removable cover plate, equipped with an 'easy-grip' handle and pusher bolt capability, allows quick and straightforward access to the pump's interior without the need to disconnect piping. This design facilitates rapid removal of clogs and enables the pump to return to service within minutes. Additionally, the impeller, seal, wearplate, and flap valve can be conveniently accessed for inspection or maintenance.
Removable Rotating Assembly
Inspection and maintenance of the pump shaft or bearings are made simple without disrupting the pump casing or piping, thanks to the removable rotating assembly. Just remove four bolts from the back of the pump, and the assembly slides out effortlessly.
Dual Protection of Bearings
The innovative design includes atmospheric isolation of the seal cavity, providing robust protection for the bearings and allowing for external monitoring. This dual protection ensures prolonged bearing life and reduces maintenance needs.
