The Super T Self-Priming Trash Pump is engineered for cost-effective and hassle-free operation in managing liquids and slurries containing solids. Featuring an expansive volute design, these pumps can re-prime autonomously in a fully open system without requiring suction or discharge check valves. This functionality remains effective whether the pump is only partially filled with liquid or operating with a completely dry suction line.
Capable of handling up to 76mm spherical solids, depending on the model, these pumps ensure minimal disruption. When service or repair of the pump shaft or bearings is necessary, the entire rotating assembly can be easily removed without disturbing the pump casing or connected pipelines.
Mirroring the reliability and performance of the ST self-priming pump, the Super T pump also offers advanced design features such as external shimless adjustment, dual bearing protection, and an ergonomically designed "easy-grip" cover plate handle. With a diverse selection of pump sizes, impeller trims, and speed options, you can find the perfect pump to meet the exact requirements of any system, from small subdivisions to expansive waste collection setups.
External Shimless Adjustment
The external shimless cover plate allows effortless adjustment of the clearance between the impeller and the wearplate, eliminating the need to realign belts, couplings, or other drive components. This design ensures the working height of the seal assembly and impeller back clearance remain undisturbed. The unique collar and adjusting screw facilitate incremental wearplate clearance adjustments with a simple hand twist. Once set, the collar locks in place, maintaining the clearance even if the cover plate is removed. This innovative design doubles the lifespan of the impeller and wearplate, ensuring the pump operates at peak efficiency.
Solids Handling
The two-vane, semi-open solids handling impeller is adept at managing up to 75 mm (3 inches) diameter solids, depending on the pump model. Pump out vanes on the impeller shroud minimize the accumulation of foreign materials behind the impeller and reduce pressure on the seal and bearings.
Exclusive Mechanical Seal
Featuring an exclusive double-floating, self-aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal with silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide stationary and rotating faces, this seal is tailored specifically for abrasive industrial applications. Available on 75 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm (3, 4, and 6 inches) pump models, with optional seals also available.
Removable Cover Plate with "Easy-Grip" Handle
The removable cover plate, equipped with an "easy-grip" handle and pusher bolt capability, ensures swift and easy access to the pump interior without disconnecting piping. This feature allows for rapid removal of clogs and quick return to service. Additionally, the impeller, seal, wearplate, and flap valve are accessible through the cover plate opening for inspection or maintenance.
Removable Rotating Assembly
Easily inspect the pump shaft or bearings without disturbing the pump casing or piping by simply removing the rotating assembly. Just take out four bolts from the pump's back, and the assembly slides out effortlessly.
Dual Protection of Bearings
The atmospheric isolation of the seal cavity provides robust protection for the bearings and supports external monitoring capabilities.
