External Shimless Adjustment
The external shimless cover plate facilitates effortless adjustment of the gap between the impeller and the wearplate, bypassing the need to realign belts, couplings, or other drive components. Consequently, the seal assembly's working height and the impeller back clearance remain unaffected. The innovative collar and adjusting screw enable fine-tuned adjustments of the wearplate gap with a simple hand turn. Once set, the collar securely locks in place, preserving the clearance setting even if the cover plate is detached. This thoughtful design doubles the lifespan of the impeller and wearplate, ensuring the pump consistently operates at peak efficiency.
Solids Handling
The two-vane, semi-open solids handling impeller is adept at processing solids up to 3 inches (75 mm) in diameter, dependent on the pump model. Pump out vanes on the impeller shroud effectively minimize foreign material buildup behind the impeller and alleviate pressure on the seal and bearings.
Exclusive Mechanical Seal
Our exclusive double-floating, self-aligning, oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal-comprising stationary and rotating faces of silicon carbide or tungsten titanium carbide-is specifically crafted for abrasive industrial applications. This seal is available in 3-inch, 4-inch, and 6-inch (75 mm, 100 mm, and 150 mm) pump models, with optional seals also on offer.
Removable Cover Plate with 'Easy-Grip' Handle
